Travel is life — all it takes is an open heart

This way of living chose me — not the other way around.
I’ve always been someone who believes the most beautiful moments in life happen when you truly connect with a place and its people. That spark when you meet someone real in a new city, when time disappears and you feel like you’ve known each other forever… that feeling is everything to me.
That’s why I became a guide.
I’m not here to tick boxes or show you the usual sights. I want to share the Hong Kong I love — through late-night food, quiet neighbourhoods, busy markets, and genuine conversations with locals. I want you to feel the heartbeat of this city, not just see it.
I’m a romantic at heart — a lyricist, rapper, writer, and theatre guy who happens to guide tours. For me, the most precious thing is genuine connection. That moment when a stranger becomes a friend in just a few hours… that’s what I live for. The most beautiful part is that the people I love most in this world — my parents, my closest friends, and even my wife Zoe — have all joined my tours. Because this isn’t just my job. This is how I live. This is how I love.
Over the past few years, more than 6,000 people have walked with me. Most of them left with far more than just memories — they left with new friends and a deeper love for Hong Kong.
I’m now entering a new chapter. Fewer tours, but much deeper ones. I’m looking for those who come with an open heart and real curiosity.
If you’re someone who wants to feel a city instead of just visiting it, then maybe we’re meant to walk together.
See you soon,
Armie
